Three Trusted Brands. One Certified Team.

Corrigan Generators is a certified dealer and service provider for Briggs & Stratton, Generac and Kohler.

We install, service, and handle warranty repairs on all three.

Most Homeowners And Business Owners Start

An outdoor scene with a fenced backyard, a gray electrical generator on a concrete pad, and tools and a backpack nearby, surrounded by green plants and trees, with sunlight shining through.

Most homeowners and business owners start with a brand in mind, usually the one they have seen in a neighbor's yard or in an advertisement. That is a fine place to start, but it is rarely where the decision should end.

We carry three manufacturers so that the recommendation can fit your property instead of your property fitting the only brand we happen to sell. Our technicians are certified and trained across all three lines and recertified every year, which means the brand you choose does not change the quality of the installation or the service behind it.

Briggs & Stratton

Briggs & Stratton is our primary line and the system we install most often. Corrigan is one of the top Briggs & Stratton dealers in the country, and that relationship shows up in what we can offer you.

The line covers a wide range of sizes and configurations, from compact units engineered for tight lot lines and close clearances through full whole-home capacity, with options at nearly every step in between. Every model runs on natural gas or propane.

These systems are built around a commercial-grade Vanguard engine and housed in corrosion-resistant aluminum enclosures, and they run a weekly self-test at normal operating speed so the unit is ready when you need it. Remote monitoring is available through the EnergyTrak app, which also allows our technicians to review your system remotely.

Briggs & Stratton carries one of the longer standard warranties available on home standby equipment, covering parts, labor, and travel. Select models carry a full ten year warranty. We go over the exact terms for the system we recommend during your site evaluation.

Generac

Gantry logo with orange baseline and letter 'G' in dark blue.

Generac holds the largest share of the home standby market, and many customers come to us already familiar with the name. We are a certified Generac dealer and service provider, if that is the system you want, we can install it, maintain it, and handle warranty repairs on it.

Generac offers the widest range of the three brands, spanning compact residential units through larger systems built for businesses, in both air-cooled and liquid-cooled configurations. Systems run on natural gas or propane, run a weekly self-test at normal operating speed, and support remote monitoring through Mobile Link.

Kohler

Black background with white geometric shapes and the word "POP" in stylized uppercase letters, with a circle replacing the letter "O".

Kohler builds home standby systems on commercial-grade engines, with weatherproof enclosures engineered for severe conditions and a quiet weekly exercise cycle. The range runs from smaller air-cooled units through whole-home capacity, with liquid-cooled systems available for larger homes and for businesses. All models run on natural gas or propane.

Kohler systems include remote monitoring through the Kohler Energy Management app, and the enclosures come in a range of color options, which matters more than people expect when a homeowners association has a say in what sits beside the house.

Kohler carries a five year limited warranty on residential systems, with extended coverage available.

Corrigan has serviced Kohler equipment for years. We now sell and install them.

How We Help You Choose

A man in an orange shirt and gray pants is standing outdoors on a grassy area next to an air conditioning unit, inspecting it with the unit's cover partially lifted. There are tall, green, well-trimmed bushes behind him.

Sizing leads the product we pick. In more than twenty years of installing and servicing these systems, that has proven to be the part of the decision that determines whether a customer is satisfied years later.

We start with your property and your priorities, and we determine the capacity your home or building actually requires. Once we know that, the right system follows from it, and the brand conversation becomes a comparison of the details that will genuinely affect you:

  • Warranty length and what the coverage includes

  • Sound levels during operation and during the weekly exercise

  • Physical footprint and how close the unit can sit to the building

  • Enclosure finish and color, when appearance or an association matters

  • Manufacturer lead times, which vary and can affect your completion date

Then we give you a detailed recommendation and explain clearly why we selected it. If you have a brand preference, we will tell you honestly whether it is the right fit for your property.

What Certified Actually Means

A worker in an orange shirt and dark pants installing or repairing outdoor electrical equipment beside a house, with green trees in the background.

Certified dealer is a phrase that gets used loosely. For Corrigan, it means three specific things across all three manufacturers.

  • We are Authorized to Sell and Install - Equipment comes through the manufacturer with full dealer backing rather than off a retail shelf.

  • We are Certified to Service - Our technicians complete manufacturer certification for each brand and renew it every year, the same way an electrical license is renewed.

  • We are Authorized for Warranty Repairs - When something is covered, we perform the repair and handle the claim with the manufacturer on your behalf.

That last one is the difference customers feel. A generator bought from a retailer and installed by whoever was available leaves you to sort out a warranty claim yourself. We do that part for you.

We Service Other Brands Too

If your generator came from another manufacturer or another company, we can still help. We service and repair most major makes and models regardless of who installed the system, and remote monitoring can usually be added to an existing unit.
